JBohnBishop Mercantile was created by J Bohn Bishop, a native to SML. The collection is curated for the girl who loves or needs a little color in her wardrobe, showcasing the latest trends in fashion.

With a decade of experience in social retail, J Bohn launched the Mercantile in November 2021 at the Chamber's SML Chili Festival. 

What was supposed to be an online + event-based boutique quickly turned into a brick & mortar. 

Today, the flagship store is located at Halesford Center in Bedford County beside Vinny's and will be open 6 days a week beginning Memorial Day weekend. The second location is inside of Gills Creek Marina at channel marker G2 in Franklin County. 

The third location is HERE at Evie's at the Lake SML Market housed under the same roof as the Smith Mountain Lake Coffee House's Food Lion Plaza location, also in Bedford County. 

Upon entering her flagship location, J Bohn & staff welcome you to a colorful environment that fosters good conversation and laughter. After a Stylist has helped you select items to try on, you'll be asked which city you'd like to visit for your fitting - the Low Country room which features a gorgeous palm leaf wallpaper that will have you convinced you're in Charleston and/or Savannah - or catch a flight to Nashville and take a stroll down 12 South in this Draper James inspired space.

J Bohn ships across the US through her site and provides pick-up in a porch box and in-store for locals who want to secure items online prior to stopping by.
